Seated Back Stretch

This seated back stretch can be done at home or even in the office.
This is a quick way to relieve stress and strain on your back anytime
of the day.
If you are worried that your co-workers think you are crazy, just
pretend as if you dropped something.
This back stretching exercise stretches up through the entire back.
Keeping your entire back stretched and strong can help reduce lower
back pain and injuries.
To help relieve back pain, you want to target all the core muscles.
These include your abdominals and hip flexors as well as the back.
So don't stop your stretching routine with just the back, add some for
the abs, hips and thighs as well.
Exercise #3 - Seated Lower Back Stretch
Make sure to have the proper position during this stretch. Also
remember to breath while doing this exercise.
Sit up straight and tall in your chair.
- Place your feet on the floor in a wide stance.
- Drop your head and arms down towards the floor. Try to
reach your toes with your hands.
- Hold for at least 15 seconds while breathing.
- Return to starting position.
You can do this several times in one session or stretch anytime you
feel tight and stressed.
